Everyday Homemade
Have you found yourself with a bunch of leftover cornbread and now you’re wondering whether or not you can freeze it? Well, you’re in luck! You can easily freeze cornbread with these 4 simple steps.
01
Allow the leftover cornbread to cool completely on the counter before covering or wrapping it to prevent condensation.
02
Wrap cornbread in either plastic wrap or beeswax wrap. You can wrap the whole loaf of cornbread or cut it into individual slices.
03
Place the wrapped cornbread inside a freezer-safe plastic bag or container. The double wrapping helps to prevent freezer burn. Don’t forget to label and date the cornbread.
04
Store the cornbread in the freezer for up to 3 months for optimum quality.
