Cilantro Garlic Sauce

This Cilantro Garlic Sauce is tangy and refreshing with a rich, creamy texture. Ready in just 5 minutes, it combines Greek yogurt with cilantro, garlic, and lime juice for an easy, versatile sauce that pairs well with tacos, burritos, and so much more.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup cilantro washed, thick stems removed
  • 1 clove garlic grated or finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons (about 1 lime) lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt plain, 2% milkfat

Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, grated garlic, and kosher salt. Pulse the ingredients until the cilantro is broken down into small pieces. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.

  • Add the Greek yogurt to the food processor. Blend on high until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.

  • Transfer the sauce to a bowl. Serve immediately or refrigerate for an hour to let the flavors meld together. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Quick Tip: If you prefer a thinner sauce, add a small amount of water while blending.
